S14 / E8: Leap
In this week’s episode of Wildheart we chat about the word ‘roam’ - and just like the word itself, we meander through topics and thoughts to explore how and why roaming is so connected to wildness and self exploration.
Why have we chosen to talk about the word ‘roam’?
It’s a word that feels like the culmination of the journey we’ve taken in this season of the podcast through the rising and expansion of this spring: the final moment of commitment as we ‘jump into’ the most vibrant part of the year.
It also obviously connects with the bouncy energy of spring hares and lambs, and the air element that has been lifting and carrying us through this part of the cycle.
The act of leaping requires trust - this is a theme we’ve touched on frequently in recent episodes as being vital to moving through the winter-spring transition, so it feels right to gather up the seeds of trust we’ve been sowing throughout the year so far and use them to support our onward progression into summer.
